Im trying to install a disc with contains a driver which i need for my headset, however when i put the disc in the cd drive sounds like a plane taking off, stops then does it again, and shows this green blinking light, then the light goes off completey. The CD drive is up to date, so any help?

Solution
I had the same exact issue with a Dell desktop but I replaced it with a new desktop a couple of years ago. Both of the CD drives simply stopped reading everything I put in them, it sound like an airplane taking off and then nothing. When I clicked on the drive in "my computer" it said "insert disk", I did some research in forums and several other people had the same problem and found out it was some sort of issue with the BIOS, I never could get it fixed. In fact I had a brand new portable USB CD drive I tried using with that same PC and even that didn't work on that particular desktop. It never really affected me because I simply downloaded the drivers/software I needed directly from the manufacturer's website, its better doing it that...

Just saying, its something you may never actually be able to get fixed unless you take it to your local PC repair shop.
