my compuster is freezing for a few seconds at a time, Why?

Just bought my i3 core a day ago. I have install magic jack and Skype. it happens when I watch a video of any kind

The internet is probably too slow to keep up with your needs. This might not be caused by your isp, the past several the internet has been awful here.
