My computer beeps when i start my pc up

I just installed the cooler master 212 evo. And when i start up my pc it just beeps. It looks like the cooler starts spinnig, but then it stops. And it just keeps turning on and off, with the same short beeps

I'd remove the cooler and reinstall since that is all that changed. Make sure it wasn't too loose or over tightened. Also,check you're other power cables, RAM, GPU, and other connections to make sure nothing got knocked loose.

I tried tightening it and loosening it but somehow the cooler can still rotate. I checked and everything was plugged in, the screw in the middle of the cooler does not tighten. Does that mean anything?

I've never used the cooler myself, but it has great reviews. Anything special in the installation guide regarding this? Did you double check the mounting holes on your socket type?

I dont think so... i would go back and find out how many beeps it sound before shutting down, but im afraid to fry my cpu

I remounted the cooler at tightent it alot. My pc turns on fine, and i get good temperatures. Thanks for the help
