When I turn my computer on it immediately just shuts down after about 3 seconds of power. Then it will turn back on automatically after a second or two and be fine. Everyone once in awhile though it will repeat this a couple times and a screen will come up saying "overclocking failed" The thing is I am not overclocked, My i5 2500k has been at default settings since I bought it.

I built this computer back in Dec 2011. If that matters. I thought maybe my processor was OCing itself (not likely) but could this maybe bee a PSU issue? Or lack of power, I don't have an extra PSU I was looking at buying one.

2500k
1 HD 7950
5 case fans
3 7200rpm HD's
1 SSD
750w Corsair Bronze rated PSU

I don't think it's the PSU. High power, very good manufacturer, bronze certification.

I would say it's the OC profile that the BIOS loads at startup, suppose your mobo supports this. Or maybe for some reason (like dead Lithium battery on mobo) the BIOS is loosing the current settings, it defaults to some OC settings, it fails at first boot and then reverts to "fail-safe" settings. Just a thought.
