My computer is ded while formating

While formating my laptop. Battery become low and it shutdowned after charging the battery . i tried to instal the os. But it started to resatart atomatically. And after a hour it is ded and not starting. I called to Dell custemer care the tols me to change the mother board. What to do

Could also be the battery isn't holding a charge. How old is it? For more advice, list the dell model number. If it's new, don't touch anything; you'll have to send the whole system to dell for them to replace the board.
