Hi everyone-

I have had my custom built PC for 6 years now. Starting last month, sometimes it would not boot into windows, and i would be stuck at the gigabyte splash screen unable to get into the bios. Delete key F9 F12 and end keys all have no response. Sometimes it wouldn’t have this issue but I would have to reboot the computer 15 times before getting in. Very recently the computer was unable to get into windows entirely. I have tried exchanging power supplies, taking out/reseating ram, trying one stick, swapping, unplugging the video card, unplugging all devices including boot disks, clearing the CMOS battery, and all don’t work.

Specs- Gigabyte GA-f2a88xm-d3h

standard 2x8gb ballistix ddr3

AMD 7850k apu

xfx rx280

cx500 psu (which i thought was the issue so i traded for evga 500w, doesn’t work either)

Important to note that when i was able to get into the bios I removed all overclocks and kept stock clocks

Any help is appreciated, thank you!

Considering that troubleshooting you’ve already done, unfortunately sounds like a failed MoBo. But I’m pretty sure you already got to that conclusion too.
