my computer isnt responding for alot of programs as well as screen freezes in games.

whenever i use programs they eventually stop responding and i must wait a few minutes before they decide to work properly again. while i play video games my screen freezes for about 1 minute until it unfreezes that typically happens 2-3 times per game

gpu: Nvidia 650 ti
hard drive: WD blue 500gb
ram: 8gb 4x2 patriot

Might also want to run http://www.memtest86.com/ and check your ram.

PC freezes and then unfreezes, its waiting for something. Could be drive. we look there first.
