every setting regarding the wireless network is fine. wifi was just working fine till yesterday and suddently the computer shows no availability of wireless connection where as it is not the same case for other computers. they work just fine on same modem. May be my computer is old( Compact presario)

1. Your wifi card could be dying.
2. Your motherboard may slowly be failing

If you are able to, I would take out your wifi card and try it out in another system to see if it might be the card. If it is not a hardware issue then you may need to reset your internet wireless settings back to factory default to see if to will make a difference.
