[SOLVED] My computer will not boot. It turns on for a quick second.

My computer that I am building is only turning on for like a second then it shuts off. My psu clicks when ever I turn it on and it think it’s a short. I took it out of the case with just the motherboard, cpu and one stick of ram. It still does the same thing I am confused I thought it was the heat sink I had but I replaced it with an old one and it still doesn’t work . Please help me with whatever advice.

I have a evga 750 G5 with a MSI h310m pro-VDH plus mother board. Gpu is a gtx 960 ssc with g skill 8 gb of ddr ram with a thermal thermal take heatsink and 1tb of hhd and i5 6400K skylake processor
