I bought an R9 280X GPU and after a few days the PC constantly shuts down. Now the monitors wont turn on and I think there something wrong with the card. Help! I think i eiter overheated the card or somethings dead.

I have a 600W Coolermaster

One, he really SHOULD be looking at wattage because anything below 750w will not cut it for a 280x, and brand isnt all he needs to look for but it is a good idea, XFX, Corsair, Seasonic, EVGA, Coolermaster are just some to name a few, but brand isnt all that matters, look for at least an +80 bronze rating, what these ratings refer to is the efficiency of the power supply in supplying the wattage advertised and its consistancy to output at that rate almost all the time, for more information these videos should definately help.
What are 80+ ratings and how to pick a PSU

sir i have 550w antec moduler psu and i can bet this psu can handle this card easily ... my old gtx 570 works fine on that psu..the thing is specs matters 😛

So Do I need a new 750W psu ? My computer has been bluescreening and black screen ? (bottlenecking)?
