My connection keeps dropping when playing online games, but works fine at other times

So i play a lot of online games on my laptop using our wireless internet.

In the evenings it works fine, but during normal daytime hours when i am off work it cuts out consistently.

All the games say pretty much the same thing "lost connection to server" essentially.

One thing i am wondering, is that during the day my brother in law "works" in the office below our flat. Could it be something he is doing that is killing my wireless reception?

I have seen him watching TV in there numerous times on his apple laptop. Do TV streaming services eat all the bandwidth or am i just overthinking it?

Its just the fact that its roughly the times he is in the office that the wireless plays up.

Could someone else be using our wireless?

Streaming services will definitely eat into the bandwidth available to you, yes.
To fix this, prioritise your gaming traffic at the router, if you are able to.
