Recently, my CPU's fan has stopped working as intended. The fan won't spin, but it sometimes jitters. After moving the blades of the fan, it will spin only for a couple of seconds and then stop, almost as I've helped it but it can't go on. When this first happened, since I noticed my CPU was running hot, I opened up the case and noticed the fan wasn't doing anything. I quickly fiddled with the wires that connect the fan to the CPU fan header and noticed if I held them in a certain way, the fan would continue spinning. That fixed the problem for about a week until I had to update my windows. After the computer restarted, the fan stopped spinning as before and any effort to fiddle with the wires doesn't help anymore. Any ideas why? Thanks. :^)
