Hello everyone. I have a ryzen 5 2600 with a corsair h100i v2. My cpu temps are totally fine, the ambient temp is 25C and my idle temps are 30-35C and gaming temps are 45-47C. I wanted to ask you guys something. I've noticed(monitored with hwinfo) that my cpu is running at 3,7-3,75 ghz while on idle(at gaming it's always 3,75ghz but that doesn't concern me). My previous cpu would fall to lower frequencies while idle, but the 2600 runs always at 3,7-3,75 without doing literally ANYTHING. I don't have any problems, my pc is working like a boss. I'm just wondering why is that happening and if I should worry about it. Thanks in advance.

It is normal, dont worry, they fixed the issue on zen 2 but zen 1 (which you have) still needs to be at full frequency to respond promptly to burst type of loads.

I'm not worried at all, my ryzen 5 2600 performs really well in gaming(at 1080p with a gtx 1070), I'm very pleased with its performance and temperatures. I read on reddit that it's better to have the ryzen balanced on, so I'm keeping it. Thank you for the reassurance!
