My CPU is running above 40 degrees

And just for future reference, a temperature by itself tells us really nothing. "40 C when idling for over 10 minutes" is much different than"40 C when playing videos" or "playing Fortnite" or whatever.

Generally speaking, idle temps really don't tell us much (unless your idle temp is like 90...). Your cooling is only really tested under load.

Question from errolsookram100 : "My CPU is running above 40 degrees Celsius"

Hi, it depends when it runs at 40 degrees is that at idle? Also if it is hot where you live then I would expect it to run a bit warmer as this PC is one of the slim case ones so the CPU cooler isn't going to work at its best, also its probably a standard intel cooler which are never that good.

Might be worth opening the PC and cleaning the fans including the one on the CPU if you already have not done that.
