Question My cpu temp says 126. Need assistance

I just purchased all the parts for my pc to build and got it all installed or so I thought. I have an MSI Z390 a pro motherboard and a Cooler Master Master Liquid 240L Rgb. I’m not 100% sure where this other cable from the pump goes. It’s only got 3 slots for prongs and all my fan slots are 4 as well as my cpu pump slot. Where does it go? I Stuck it in both slots and tried running my BIOS and it keeps saying cpu overheat alert and that it is 126 degrees Celsius. Idk what do. It looks and sounds like it’s working. All the fans doing and light up. The lights in the pump light up and it sounds like the pump is running. Idk what I did wrong

I have the same motherboard and I just built my pc today. I had the EXACT same problem! My CPU temperature said 126 degrees celsius. My cooler is the Corsair H100i PRO RGB 240mm liquid cooler

Mine is also throwing up an error, and it is saying it is 126degrees celsius when it doesn't appear to be warm at all.

Can I join club? I too have the same error with a Corsair H60 and an MSI Z390-A PRO. Any hints on how this can be resolved would be appreciated.

It looks like I returned the board and got a new one which worked out.
