My D: drive is set as a recovery partition. How to change it back?

Hello,

Recently I tried to format my computer, but it wouldn't allow me because I had to recovery partitions, so I stupidly made my fifth partition ( D: drive ) as a recovery partition, but it still wouldn't work, so I tried changing the partition 2 and 6 to recovery partitions and it worked.

When I formatted it had no trouble, but normally there would be a "Clean Windows Drive or All Drives" option, but it didn't show up, so I just shrugged and formatted, now, when I go to My Computer there isn't a D: drive.

BTW, I used CMD, and I would really appreciate if someone would tell me the command to put it back to normal

At this point, if I were you, I would wipe the drive, remove the partitions, and start fresh with 1 or 2 total partitions on that drive.
This will remove all files, programs, windows, from the drive, as well as the recovery partition. If you don't have a way of installing windows, I would not recommend removing the recovery partition.

I typically perform all my partition duties from the windows installer (custom/advanced install to get partition editing/formatting).

You can't "format your computer" from within Windows.
If you want to completely clean the hard drive and reinstall the operating system, boot from an operating system install disk and choose the advanced option during install. This will give you options to delete any existing partitions and then just let the install create the required partitions.
