My Dad Doesn’t Allow

So i asked my dad if i could get a computer with my own money, he said no eventhough it was only 300rm which is around 75usd and the computer is literally 5usd more expensive than my shoes which the moment i asked they said ok and bought it for me, i didnt even have to use my money...

Your father's home. Your father's rules. Even if it is your money, as long as you live there, you have to abide by the decisions of your parents. If you don't like it, get a job, move into your own place, pay for your own food, pay your own bills, and with whatever is left, then you can buy whatever you want.

For me it does not matter if you are a child or a grown up. When you live in your parents house. The parents rules goes... always. No "if" or "but".

As Wolfshadw already pointed out. If you dont like the rules and want to be your own "master". Get a job, move out and pay for everything yourself.

If my son asked me if he could buy a $75 computer, I'd probably tell him no as well.
Around here, that would be a wasted $75.

Anything that cheap would not do what he would want it to do.


Bottom line, though...you're living in dad's house...dad's rules.
