Hello, I have a sony vaio, and its a 64 bit but the explorer down load station keeps saying its a 32 bit.... I don't understand

Do you mean internet explorer? Then it should show you 32-bit as default. If you want to run 64-bit IE, then choose it from start menu>all program> Internet Explorer 64-bit.

You cant make 64-bit IE as you default browser in win 7 but in win 8.

Many programs are still 32 bit so it's probably detecting the software running at 32 bit. If computer properties says it's 64 bit, you have nothing to worry about.
