My dell desktop has no sound

I see that this post is almost 3 weeks old. I hope your issue is resolved by now. Just in case if it is not, try to run Microsoft Fix it audio troubleshooter:

You might want to check & reinstall the audio drivers for your system. Please click on the below link & enter the service tag of your system:
