My DELL Inspiron 660 won't turn on

My PC is around 3 years old, it has always worked perfectly. I last used it yesterday but this morning it simply wouldn't turn on. The green light on the back is on but not flashing and there's simply no response when I push the power button. I tried unplugging everything and holding the power button for 10-20secs but it didn't helped.

Most likely the switch is bad. Open the case look for the wire running from the switch to the motherboard. There will be some pins you can lay a paperclip across to turn it on and confirm this

Thanks a lot for the help, sadly, I opened the case and found the wires that go from the switch to the motherboard and I'm pretty sure I also found the mentioned pins but I tried connecting them with a screwdriver and different paperclips but with no result.
