I'm at the end of my rope. I've expended all the money at my disposal, gutted my PC replacing the power supply AND the motherboard, and after all this stress and exhaustion trying to repair this desktop, it still WILL NOT TURN ON!!! I don't know what it is, I don't know what to do, and I feel like I'm losing my mind.

I don't remember the processor, but I know the power supply is a Corsair CX750, the Motherboard is an MSI 970 Gaming, and the graphics card is a GTX 950. I can't provide a clear image of the motherboard and how the cables are connected because there are so many cables inside the case it's a mess, but I plugged everything in according to the motherboard's manual. And patience? I've been trying to get this thing working the way I need it to for YEARS, and finally I got it working, only for the motherboard to fry after about three days of using it. I replaced the motherboard and the power supply, what everyone I went to told me the problem was, and yet and still it WILL NOT WORK. I'm beyond having lost my patience for this thing at this point. And I've followed every step in that guide about fifty times over now. Still NOTHING.

Seeing that you have replaced both motherboard and PSU i would like to eliminate the fact that the power could be nothing to do with either but one thing to try quickly is to take out your power cable and hold down the power button to drain any existing power in the board (Motherboard won't let PC turn on because of a powersurge)

Next thing to do is to check that the connectors are correctly installed in the motherboard so the power button is actually connected. Again to eliminate this possibility unplug all front panel adapters and use a small screwdriver to create a connection between the 2 Power Button Pins.

Make sure the CPU power is connected correctly and also Motherboard power connection is installed correctly as these are 2 things that will completely deny the machine turning on.

Try this list of simple things and let us know!

Tried all those things, and a whole lot of nothing happened. The desktop still won't turn on.
