My dvd reader is not working

My DVD drive will burn DVD'S but will not read DVD'S,what could be the falt?

If it won't ready any DVDs, movie, data, etc.. 99% it's a hardware issue, get a new drive.

How old is the drive, what brand?

Has it been working for a while or it always done that ?

Might just need a firmware update.

If it's old you might need to change it.
