My far cry 4 is too laggy!?!?

My rig is:
ram 8gb
cpu i5-2300 2.8-3.1ghz
gpu r9 270x
psu 620w seasonic bronze 2
1TB HDD

I think I should play this game on high atleast for playable fps at all areas..
But, this game is so laggy to me, even on low sett's I have some huge fps drops and it's so unplayable..every faster move it's lagg..driving car is almost impossible..all that on low sett's..

Please if anyone know reason and solution, tell me I will appreciate it really

Some amd user are having trouble with this game. I don't know if its a driver issue, but maybe try rolling back your drivers to an earlier version? Otherwise, your system fits in between the minimum and recommend specs. There was a CPU load distribution issue but i'm prettty sure they patched that issue. Make sure your game is up to date too. Good luck.

Me too I have the same annoying problem I have a gtx760 and yeah even on low I get terrible frames

See if disabling vsync helps.

It helped alot really, I turned it off and now on map examp, where was 60fps now is 300+.. In game going 60-90fps on high sett's but there are however lags again..how time is running out, lag increasing more and more..

Now make sure you only use SMAA, TXAA is a frame rate killer.

but that will reduce your texture quality.

When I set it on HIGH it automatically set SMAA and I did that with "DisableLoadingMip0="0" " and changedthe 0 to 1..Results are next..Myb soo little better then before on gameplay, maybe +5fps but I have now 10-15fps in cutscenes.. I think this game really sucks mate :/

thats too bad. I'm playing it on my old editing rig with a phenom2 x6 1055t, 16gb, and a gtx970 and its playing awesome at defaults (and your system is better)...

His CPU is better but your GPU is better. I think the big thing here is that AMD gpu users have had some real mixed results with this game. I just sold my AMD rig and built an Intel/Nvidia rig and the new one does a lot better.

Its a shame, really, because it's a super fun game :-/

Yes it's so funny and look really good..btw I fixed that with scenes now they are 50+fps.. But difference between LOW and ULTRA are only in 10fps..Is that possible? I can play on ULTRA same as I'm playing on LOW.. myb 10fps difference or even less..My cpu temps goes to 81* which is 5* above my normal temps on full load in the other games. I don't know what's problem and why I have those laggs, but thank you mate, I really appriceate your help

Btw.. "popatim" u have nice gpu and better then mine mate, u're lucky 'cuz u playing it normally..What fps u get on ultra sett's ???

have you updated to the omega drivers? i heard omega drivers greatly improved performance on amd cards. you can try this as well http://www.reddit.com/r/farcry/comments/2mvgeg/far_cry_4_performance_frame_rates_and_stuttering/ i think it improved my framerate abit

Why not? The omega drivers are released by amd for amd graphics cards so you should be able to

In my case I think it was the 4gb ram which was holding my graphics card back but since then I've bought another 4gb, I'll try it out as soon as it arrives

I tired to check but I couldnt get the console to open to type int he command... so all I do know for sure is that it does use all 6 of my cores at about 55%-65% total.
