Info My fix for Chrome unable to open because of side by side error.

Today I had a problem with my chrome opening, I tried to run the shortcuts and the exe's but side-by-side errors popped up. I checked the chrome files (C:\Program Files\Google\Chrome) but couldn't find anything. I then went into the temp files (C:\Program Files\Google\Chrome\Temp) and saw Chrome-bin, there was a chrome.exe with all the other necessary files. I ran chrome in that directory and it worked, so i replaced all the files in application (C:\Program Files\Google\Chrome\Application) with the files in the bin, and it was able to open and run without any problems.

TL/DR: Replace files in application with the files in chrome-bin

Note: this problem can be different for everyone

I think it might of been an auto update if the files that worked were in chrome-bin and the new ones weren’t working
