Hello guys, i need your help please, im out of ideas i read almost every forum and never find the solution. I'm a streamer and gamer. At different times of the day, I experience a delay of a second in the game, shooting, movements of opponents, and does not register bullets at all. Sometimes it is very playable and you enjoy the game process. What I tried: Changed two routers: Mikrotik, Asus router, TP link router. I've reinstalled Windows a bunch of times. I tried VPN, TcpOptimizer. Everything gave me a little effect, but then it came back.

I installed the latest drivers for the Internet, and for 3 days it was just very pleasant to play. I was already glad that everything was resolved. Everything came back and again I have the feeling that I have a lot of packet loss, but the packet loss is 0% and the ping is stable. I changed 3 IPS and there was no effect. Please help me i feel so lost and sad because i cant enjoy the games and stream.

Update your post to include full system hardware specs and OS information.

PSU? Disk drive(s)?

What games are being played?

= = = =

Use Task Manager and Resource Monitor to observe system performance.

Use both tools but only one tool at a time.

Open the tool window and simply watch what the system is doing or trying to do. At some point the performance will (should) simply be stable and generally unchanging.

In Resource Monitor start with the Overview tab. Then focus in on the other tabs as needed. Especially if something seems amiss.

Leave the tool window open and then work or game as usual.

Watch for what changes when the delays or sense of delay happens.

There are other tools that can be used as well - Process Explorer (Microsoft, free) can prove helpful.

The end objective is simply learn more about what the system is doing or trying to do when you sense delays.

  • 1TB M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD ( Sk HYNIX ) PSU 750W cant really find the name because i order this PC from lenovo which has i9 13900KF, 4080, ddr5 6000, lenovo motherboard, PSU 750W. W11 Home. I reinstalled bunch of times my windows, tried a lot of tweaks, even i bought ASUS 2.5GB USB ethernet. The problem is very random, sometimes if im lucky enough i can enjoy playing 1 game without any problem, then problem can appear next matches which makes me go crazy and depressed. I will try what you said, thank you very much for your time guys! I m really really lost

This is not going to be some simple network issue. Normally the ping command will show either packet loss or large latency spikes when you see issues in the game.

Did you leave the ping run at the same time the game is running so you can check it when the game has issues.

The problem might be in the game companies network. If you have good ping time to say 8.8.8.8 that does not mean you have good ping times to the game company server. Problem is many times the game company servers will not respond to ping. This is partially because stupid children will use ping commands to denial of service attack the server. The other reason is these servers might not be single machine in a single location. There tends to be some other load balancing server sitting in front and it can even be running in different physical data centers. So ping tends to not be a valid test when the servers are some virtual cluster of machines.

What you might get ping response from is one the game company routers. The issue will be if you detect problems going to the game company but not other servers in other ISP..like google.. you are not going to get that fixed.

This does seem more like some strange issue with the machine. Are you sure it is not some other program running on the machine. Maybe it is a strange bug with video settings, try to run it on a lower setting for a test. Since the video does not travel over the network it does not matter how you set it. If there is a network issue it should occur no matter the settings.
