Why I suggest this power supply over your build that you did is because of the Modular cables. The flat cables make it easy to do cable management vs the usual grouped cables. Besides the usual benifit of just "Use what you need, not what you don't", the power supply also has zero RPMS up to 30% lopad so that way you don't hear anything from the PSU. If you are REALLY anxious about errors on the Motherboard, you could 30$ more for the MSI Z87-GD65. This motherboard (That I currently own) also has manual power, reset and OC Genie buttons build in on the motherboard.
