I was playing Arma 3 wen i suddenly had a black screen and everything frooze. I had to hard reboot my pc and wen i rebooted my screen on the alienware icon (yes it's and alienware pc) had frooze and there where green lines on it. After a while it would blue screen and restart. All i can do is then shut it down again.
My specs are:

I7 4820k
16gb ram
Sorry not a clue what my motherboard is called.

You could try reseatting the card check the pci-e power plugs. If this doesnt work it could be your card is dead. A 1060 6GB would be a good replacement.

You could get a cheap 1060 3GB which is faster than the 780. I would suggest tho getting a 1070 for a great upgrade.

Thanks for your respons. What do you mean "move the monitor cable to the on-board video" Sorry i'm such a noob at it. Do you mean my integrated graphics or my motherboard? If so i can't. The only display connectors are coming from my gpu. My motherboard has nothing to connect my monitor on.

Thank you for responding. I have used different power plugs and the same thing happens so i guess then my card is dead? 🙁 . Thanks for your suggestion of the 1070 price is looking good and so does the performance. I hope you understand i just want confirmation if you can that my card is indeed dead so i don't buy new one for nothing thank you.

just so you know,
DO NOT BUY A GTX 1070! i bought one this Thursday, but the gpu usage is so low that my 970 almost beats it! idk if its a driver issue or if i got fucked, but it sure is annoying

If you reseatted by pulling the card out of the pcie slot then put it back then most like its dead. The only sure way tho is testing it in another know working system. There is a chance your PSU is failing.

You should use DDU to remove configs after uninstalling the drivers. Then download drivers version 373.06 from Nvidia's archive drivers. New drivers are causing some issue with video memory to run slow in a few cases.

Nevermind. I forgot that the i7-4820K has no iGPU.
