My GPU fan spins but my monitor says "no dvi signal"

My monitor is fine, it works with the integrated graphics.
DVI: unknown ( but I doubt its the problem )
I tried using HDMI: still no signal (HDMI works)
so, I'm guessing my GPU is the problem ? yes ?
any tips or tests you guys might recommend ?

Do you know someone who does, I would give you one however I live in hawaii and unless you do too that would be a problem. Do you have another computer to test the cable on?

well shit that's very kind of you, I live in NYC. I guess amazon is the way. But like I said, I dont think the cable is the root of the problem. otherwise why wouldnt it work with my HDMI ?

Well see if the warranty is still valid i know many manufacturers gave long graphics card warranty.

Unfortunately, the PC is from dell. Over priced piece of junk....
