Question My GPU Is Having Heat Issues

My gpu is getting to max temp and max fan speed instantly in almost any game I play. Not sure what the problem is but any help would be seriously appreciated.
My build is:
h500 nzxt mid tower
r7 3700x cpu
evga geforce rtx 2080 xc gaming
32 gig corsair ram 3200
nh-d15 cooler for cpu
evga 850w gold psu
crosshair hero 8 motherboard

I also have checked the cpu temps under load (Its fine) as well as made sure I'm updated to all the current drivers.
