I have an GTX 1660 thats around 2 years old, been used rather intense, especially during the pandemic, even around 14 hours a day and im getting high temperatures, reaching 83 degrees, then throttling,i tried using Afterburner to try to work with the fans a bit higher and by putting the fans on 60%,im getting around 75 degrees , in games like Apex Legends and in the majority of the newer demanding games ,but i think its still a bit too high ,what should i do to improve that, change the thermal paste? My pc case is Segotep Halo 6 plus (4 fans, 3 intakes, 1 exhaust) , i think it provides a decent cooling).
And if i should change the thermal paste , which one would be recommended? .

Solution
My pc case is Segotep Halo 6 plus (4 fans, 3 intakes, 1 exhaust) , i think it provides a decent cooling).
That's a terrible case - closed front with tiny vents at sides. Basically front fans don't do anything. They are just for bling.
