My graphics card does not support DirectX?

All of a sudden my 1 month old laptop wont play BF3. It says "DirectX device creation error" and basically that my NVIDIA 765M doesn't support DirectX. I have tried updating/re installing directX. I have tried to update/reinstall my graphics drivers but they are the newest ones. How can I fix this? Please someone tell me and don't say re install drivers because i've done it literately like 20 times already. And the graphics card used to play it fine before.

have you done a clean install? i have a 765m in my kids laptop and the newest drivers work fine, although he doesnt play bf4

What do you mean by clean install. I used a program recommended by nvidia to delete all driver files or something. Its called Display Driver Uninstaller. Then I went into safe mode and installed the newest driver. It still doesnt work. Im trying to install direct x for the 100th time. lol. any other ideas?

is it just bf3 that wont play or do other games say that too? could be an issue with a game update or something
