My sapphire r9 280x toxic is not detecting by my new mobo that is asus p8h61mle. When i putmy card in a mobo it shows no input sign but works with the integrated graphics. Is my card dead? Solution
Did you connect the supplementary power cables TO the graphics card from the power supply?

Not all graphics cards require additional power, but that one does. The other card you tested may only be powered by the PCIe slot while the new card requires slot power from the motherboard AND two additional 8 pin power connectors from the power supply.

Also, your current power supply is probably NOT sufficient to power that card, both in maximum capacity AND in quality. It may not even have the two 8 pin PCI power cables required by your card. A new power supply, of good quality, with two 8 pin power cables might need to be purchased.

Did you move the cable to your monitor from the motherboard output to the output on the graphics card?
