So today i decided to overclock my gtx 1050 ti with msi afterburner so i could get better performance in games, but when i rised the mhz to 150 and memory clock to 600 when i opened a game it felt like i down graded my card, i went from 60 fps to 20 fps!!
i dont know why it happened but i cant fix it, i uninstalled msi afterburner and deleted all the profiles and its not working and i dont know what to do please helppp

Overclocking isn't a magic dial or number that you key in. When overclocking, you're asked to make sure you're thermally and electrically sound.

Mind sharing the specs to your build and the age of the PSU?

My system specs are:
-GTX 1050 ti
- Intel Core i3-2120
-12gb ram
and i have no idea whats the age of my power supply

If you open the case you would see the sticker of the PSU and there it has the name. As for the age, you can tell us, how long you have it in the system at least.

If it's as old as the cpu, it must be more than 7 year old now.

CPU: i3-2120 @3.30GHz
RAM: 12gb ram ( 3 sticks of 4gb)
SSD: 250gb
HDD: 250gb
PSU: this pc is 1 and half years old and its a DELL 57 kjr Precision T1600 320W
GPU: Gtx 1050 ti zotac

THANK YOU SO MUCH YOU SAVED MY LIFE OMG GOD BLESS YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
