Hi

I checked my graphics card and it shows a GPU load 100% and temperature 511 C. Is this normal? Its a brand new laptop (windows 10 home). Checked many times this never changes.

i would hope that temp is wrong or its about to explode... does it burn you just holding it?

Its a bug in Speccy, reported a year ago - see here: http://forum.piriform.com/?showtopic=41575

try : http://www.almico.com/speedfan.php (it picks up more censors than are normally attached so some will be real high, you can ignore them) I wouldn't use it to run fans but its a handy temp monitor

Its not even close to being right, if gpu hit 511c wouldn't the motherboard be a tad warmer than the 28c it currently is? Laptop would shut itself down.

Mine reports the same though I'm using open hardware monitor. Also when running games through my amd graphics card it heats up and the laptop turns itself off. It seems that alot of the different monitoring programes all report 511 and 100% load

Reinstalled the amd drivers and the problem seems to be better in a way. I still get the 511c temperature sometimes though but most of the time is normal (47c).

Thanks

Also TechPowerUp GPU-Z is the most reliable out of the programs i used
