Question My graphics card needs two 8 pin connectors

So my PSU has 2, 8 pin pcie cables. Both of the pcie cables have one regular 8 pin and another 8 pin extension on the same cable. Can i only use one pcie cable if i plug in both the regular and the extension cables?

PSU: Seasonic Focus PX-650 80+ gold
GPU: Sapphire Radeon RX 5700 XT Nitro+
