My GTX 1060 Bracket keeps Hitting Motherboard when trying to install

I have recently bought a PNY XLR8 Overclocked GTX 1060 for my PC. I have researched videos on how to install and everything went swell until I try putting it into the PCI Express 16 Slot. When I tried to install it the bracket kept hitting the motherboard and wouldn't allow me to make it click. The GPU Bracket is too long I believe so could I somehow cut the excess metal on the bracket or what other suggestions do you have?

Sometimes those bottom chrome tabs get bent inwards. You can bend them back to straight or even outwards if you need to make it fit..
