My GTX 770 is made by...''Sapphire/PC Partner'' ?!

Hey guys,

I read that Sapphire do not manufacture Nvidia cards - and this seems to be the consensus.

With that in mind, I was wondering (purely out of interest) why Speccy is showing me that they indeed did make my GPU, and if anyone out there can shed light on this matter? I literally can't find any official Sapphire info on the topic. It's no big deal either way; like I said, it was purely out of interest.

Btw, I own an Acer Predator G3-605 desktop. And I am also an enthusiast despite that fact, lol

Pop open the side panel and look. Its not sapphire I can say that much.
A direct link to your PC would help, Hell it might not even be a 770!

And as below, speccy isnt the best. It says I have a 4GB card, I wish.

Its likely valid, just some digital ID errors. Try DXDiag and see what happens. May want to look into MSI afterburner too.

DXDiag just says ... Nvidia.

I don't think there is anysoftware out there that will identify t his card. And I really doubt that the Acer customer service rep will know either. http://i.imgur.com/2kV9k5Q.png

Well we knows its a 770 now. DXDIAG is showing 4GB of memory, so that probably explains the sapphire part. Its OEM so some digital monitoring is skewed.

Well its an OEM that has some weird ID tag stuck to it. Its a 770, and thats really all that matters
