hello, I have been wondering what is the max temperature my 970 should be hitting and what should I be hitting in a high gaming environment, I have been playing assetto corsa at max settings, and after about 20mins playing I checked my GPU temp and it was 79C, is that fine?, will it go up more after playing for longer in one session? and what is the max temp my 8350 CPU that works with it should go up to. I'm just quite worried as I built it myself, P.S. I use two case fans, one at top blowing air out and one at the back blowing air out not sure if this makes a difference, any feedback would be much appreciated.

Solution
The GPU is a bit warm for a 970, but is by all means safe. Anything under 80C is safe, 90C is the highest you would want it. I would still recommend turning the fan speeds up to compensate.
The CPU should stay under 62C.

As for the fans, at least one fan should be an intake (front or bottom), are the two listed the only fans?

I have one at the bottom that blows air out, aswell as one at the front of my case that sucks the air in, (they both came with the case) and what softare do you recommend to increase my fans speed?

I would swap the bottom to intake as well (Just flip it over).
As for software, look at MSI afterburner. Using this you can set a custom fan curve, or a fixed speed for the fans. Play around with the settings at different temperatures until you get desired results. 70C and under would be a good target.

ok thank you very much, appreciate your time.
