I bought a new Toshiba 1tb HDD a couple months ago. It was working good, but earlier my PC wasn't recognizing it and after It was working great. Now I can't install new Windows updates because It will get into BIOS after restarting without showing him at all, but after restart(or couple) It will boot and download update again. Sometimes It will whow "A disk read error occured, press Ctrl+Alt+Delete to try again". I've tried to reinstall Windows, change SATA cable, change SATA port without effect. I should mention that much earlier my SSD wasn't showing in BIOS too. Now I am getting some freezes in more intensive games and Windows absolutely freezing in Chorme or uTorrent. I also noticed that when I am transfering something from my backup partition speed drops and raises(from 100-50 mb/s to 10-20 mb/s). I don't know what to do because updates are downloading again and again, and in PUBG and Rainbow Six:Siege I get freezes and stutters. I am not completely shure If freezing in game is because of my CPU as It is dual core Pentium but It worked earlier without freezes(Freezes are for like 3-5 seconds).
Here are some tests that I've done
Health test: http://
Benchmark: http://

My PC specs:
CPU:Intel Pentium G3250
GPU:Nvidia GT 1030
Moterboard:Asrock H81M VG4 v2.02
HDD: Toshiba 1TB 7200rpm
PSU:MS 550

Doesn't help at all. HDD isn't recognised in BIOS so I have to restart couple times to boot up. It fixes only when I put my HDD into SATA 2 port(3.0 gb/s), I don't know if problem is in ports or something is happening with HDD

I didn't understood you as well, but I have sata 3.0 HDD, sata 3,0 motherboard and HDD doesn't work well on sata 3.0 port, but on sata 2.0 it works good but it is much slower
