Question My ingame performance

Hi so I’ve just downloaded fortnite to play at 165 hz my specs are rtx 3060 ryzen 5600x 16gb ram 500g Ssd two tb hdd and when I play it’s choppy freezes constantly and is basically unplayable and this is on the lowest settings now it only happens on fortnite every other game is fine pls help thanks
