I was playing with friends on it for hours and I haven't gotten problems with it before (about 1.5 years old desktop ) but when I shut it down that night, the screen turned off and the lights in my keyboard and mouse turned off but the pc still made noise so I just held down the power button. Next morning the keyboard and mouse didn't connect when I turned it on, so I plugged them out and turned on, and plugged both in. The mouse now worked but the keyboard didn't, I feel like I've tried everything, any suggestions?

Solution
Is the keyboard USB or PS2? If it is a USB keyboard, then try it in the other USB ports. If you have the same issue, then you could check to see if there are any USB driver updates for your motherboard, or BIOS updates.

Have you changed any other components on your system recently? Or moved the case recently. Something could be loose on your motherboard, causing it to reboot upon shutdown and get stuck during post.

You can find updates for your motherboard by visiting the manufacturers website, input your motherboard model and it will list any available updates.

I went into the websites but really didn't see anything, although I looked in my device manager and, there's a yellow triangle on 2 things, 1. Under sensors: Microsoft Visual Studio Location Simulator Sensor, 2. Under system devices: AMDA00 Interface
