I have a HyperX Alloy Origins Keyboard which I bought in October 2023.

I was gaming just now and all of the sudden it starded inputting random things without me toching the keyboard at all so i unplugged it.
When i plugged it back in the lights for numlock. caps and gaming mode at the top right started flashing white on/off, the RGB didn't light up and nothing i type registers.

I tried resetting the keyboard by pressing and holding ESC and FN that didn't work, i tried updating the firmware but i got an error saying that no device is connected.

So i opened a support ticket at Hyperx and while i was packing up the keyboard i tried it on my PS5 and it worked just fine, so i plugged it back into the PC but the problem persists.

Then i tried another cable that belongs to my headset and the keyboard seemed to work on my PC for a few seconds and then the same thing happened random inputs and then the RGB died and the top right lights started flashing white.

Then i tried it on the PS5 again but now it happens there as well no matter what cable i use.

Any idea what's going on and is there a fix?

Moisture seems an unlikely cause for what appears to be an intermittent problem. It is more likely there is a loose and intermittent connection between your computer's socket and the keyboard. This might be just a loose socket or dirty contacts there, but it could be anywhere in the connector and cable of inside the keyboard itself. Testing with a different keyboard might show you whether the socket is the problem. You might also try plugging it into a different socket on the computer. If that does not solve the issue, then the keyboard probably should be replaced under warranty.

OP had already stated that the keyboard was also malfunctioning while plugged into their PS5.
this morning it just worked again.

Lucky me.
i would surely still be planning on submitting for a replacement if it was my own.

it may work fine for now or for any extended amount of time, but if the issue arises again outside of the warranty period you would just be out of luck.
