It appears in the BIOS and on the disc manager however on benchmarks such as userbenchmark: https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/17434928

It doesn't even detect it as a Kingston drive or anything. I have another SSD on the same motherboard that is running fine by Samsung that's connected with the same type of cable as swapping the cables has no effect on the speed of the Kingston.

Does anyone have any idea of how i can get it to run at a proper speed?

Solution
It is not detected as Kingston A400, because you have put it into storage spaces. It is detected as Microsoft Storage Space Device.

Remove the drive from storage spaces, repartition, reformat and make sure it's connected to SATA 6gbit port.
size of this a400? how full it is?
what speed are you getting?
Its 480 Gigabytes and the speeds on userbenchmark are as follows:
Read 194MB/s
Write 89MB/s

If you check its even worse at the non big file tasks such as the multiple small files test where it drops to just 4 MB/s read and 19 MB/s Write

it's getting full basically, they slow down the more full you fill them.
I understand you saying that, but its always been this bad.. The samsung SSD was benched to be more than twice as fast with just 26GB left and its far older. Thats from 2015 i believe where as the Kingston isnt even a year
