my laptop cannot recognized my seagate portble device

my seagate portable device is not recognized by my computer can anyone help please.

It may just need a drive letter manually assigning to it:

Control Panel > Admin Tools > Computer Management > Disk Management

Find the relevant ribbon which has no letter and shows as RAW, in the bottom-right panel.
Right-click on it choose "Change Drive Letter & Paths".
Click "Add".
Choose a letter or accept the default.
Click 'OK'
