So, I reset my pc to get rid of some adware. Before the reset I could play games 70+ fps on medium settings, But after i reset for some reason i could only play games at 0-20 fps on low. How does this happen can anyone help me here

Here is a benchmark i ran a couple minutes before posting https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/66432209
Seriously how does this happen?
PS: i missed the ssd benchmark

Seriously how does this happen?
Contact the laptop brand (manufacturer) and troubleshoot your issue with them.

As of might have happened; following is my speculation based on what i've witnessed in the past, of course i don't have any actual proof, but;
Laptop manufacturers can restrict hardware usage within the laptop. E.g set up specific software that must be installed to "unlock" full performance of the laptop. If one would wipe the OS drive and make a clean OS installation, without that specific software, laptop performance would be handicapped to a crawl.

This kind of proprietary software and hardware combo is actually quite widespread. Usually one can see it with ARGB hardware and proprietary software to control the said hardware LEDs. Or when having e.g HP printer and being stuck by using only "genuine" HP ink cassettes. Canon does the same with their printers.
