DAC type: Internal
Device Type: Full Device
Device Problem Code: No Problem

Laptops have 2 GPU in them, an IGPU built into the CPU and the 2gb Radeon GPU, are you getting them confused?

Intel HD Graphics 4200 / 4400
AMD Radeon HD R7 M265

http://mobilespecs.net/laptop/DELL/Dell_Inspiron_14-5447.html

I am using dell inspiron 5559 and it has both intel and amd graphics card.

is the amd graphics card dedicated or only intel graphics card is attached to display

as it is only showing 128 mb dedicated video memory and in directx it shows the amd graphics card as render only graphics card.

the intel gpu used for everything apart from gaming.

when i check my dedicated video memory under display adpter properties it shows 128mb. where as i check it in dxdiag it shows 2gb. At the begining
in the diplay adapter it was 2gb.

Display adapter will be showing the 128mb for the intel igpu, since it would be being used at time. I have to guess the dirextx is showing the Radeon

Can you save a text file of the report from dxdiag and upload that to a file sharing site and show a link? I think yours similar to one in dell thread, you can't not have the amd or intel igpu as they built into the hardware.

I will see what I can find out :)
