My laptop lag after playing game for 5-10mins.
i5 8th gen
amd radeon 540 2gb
8gb ram
240gb ssd
1tb hhd
i trued to play gta 5 and hitman and i have clean my laptop fan too .

What is the CPU & GPU temp after that 5 minutes? Monitor it using MSI Afterburner or HWinfo64 and send us the details. Probably some thermal throttling happening over there.

so here are my observations
gpu cpu time
43 - 49 - idle
63-65 - started
72-70 - 30sec
78 -75 - 2min
83-80- 3min
66 - 67 - 5min
it automatically got down to 66 at that time game was laggging so much my controls were not in my hand responce of game was delayed framerates were droppend and after some time i tried to play for another 5 min temp was around 60 and game was low fps but controls were in my hands. but still i cant play idk why but i used to play on it before it works fine what happend all of a sudden.

You are overheating the poor thing and its throttled. That's why the temps are dropping and your performance sucks

Crack her open and clean her up. While you're already in there, might as well reapply thermal paste.

If you name the exact model of the laptop, then someone here may know or be able to find an exact guide on how to disassemble and re-assemble.

i did cleaned my laptop few days back but it is still overheating.
Will there be any difference if I lower the grafic settings
