Hello my laptop is HP ENVY Notebook - 15-k202nv (Touch) and my motherboard is DAY31AMB6CO i have the samsung 970 evo NVMe M.2 and not detected why? i cant find information about it anywher.

What documentation have you found that states the laptop will support that NVMe drive?

That does not mean it can accept a NVMe drive.
Only a SATA m.2 drive.

"M.2" is simply the form factor...how it plugs in.
Your motherboard does not speak NVMe, only SATA.

Yes, that will apparently work.
NOTE: That Crucial MX500 runs at exactly the same speed as a regular 2.5" SATA III drive. Just in a different package and method of connection.
