Hi this is my last build like 10 years ago.
I want to change my GPU.
What do you recommend ?

I've already got dual monitors + PC i just made last year.

So, this is gonna be my second PC.
My budget for the GPU is around 200$, it can go up if there is a valid reasons to do so.

Regards

Is your PSU 10 years old?

I want to change my GPU.
Why are you trying to upgrade the GPU? For gaming? You could look into an RTX 2060 or RTX 2070 Super if you don't have any plans to upgrade your platform. If you're looking at the RTX 3000 series or higher GPU from Nvidia or AMD's equivalent, then you'd be better off upgrading the entire platform.

You could also look at the RX 6600;

Hi there.

1. Yes its 10 years old PSU. Never change it, yet it still persist.
- I already bought my new PC for gaming 1440p.
- It mainly for editing + rendering actually (Second PC)
2. Okay so its better to get 2060 / 2070 series ?
In Asia its pretty hard to get 20xx series NEW one.

Adding another question.
If i decided to buy the 2nd 20xx series, how to check that the GPU is okay:
1. Benchmark?
2. Physically?

Any tips would be appreciated.

Thank you man!

I am a bit confused. Is the request to replace the card that failed in the older build, or is the card for the new 1440 build?
If the latter is the case, please list complete spec for the newer build.

Blanket answer without knowing your own market conditions would be to consider a used RX 6600 XT or similar. Here in the states you can routinely find them ~$180 or so. Alongside that I would ask what type sync your monitors use. The AMD card is going to want Free Sync compatible monitors and will work best using DP cables. If V-Sync on HDMI, you would be best with an NVIDIA or Intel card.

Ok so. I Already have my main PC.

The setup above is to change my GTX 970 (broken) already.

What i did with this PC are only for editing (reels and youtube videos) -> Might not use 4k as well.

The setup above would use a 1080p dual monitor.
