Question Computer wont switch on using power button but will turn on via the bios switch at the back of motherboard

My specs are

ASUS TUF B650-E Wifi
7800X3D
32GB Corsair Vengence ram
Quiet! Straight Power 12 Platinum Modular 1000W Power Supply
And a few M.2 drives and SSDs

Now the issue that i have is that the power button will not switch on the computer, but the bios switch at the back on the motherboard will switch on the computer, nothing is reset in bios, but the switch or button is acting like a power switch. Anyway to fix this? I changed the Ram and PSU because i thought they were failing, but clearly not.

Make and model of your case? Have you tried seeing if the platform powers up if you short the +ve and -ve pins for the power on the motherboard, without the front panel power switch?

Double check your molex connection. You can also test the switch with a multi-meter for continuity.

When i push the buton to force restart, it works, its only when i try to boot up the computer
